Who We Are

Burnie Community House has been established in Shorewell Park, Burnie for over 40 years and is considered an integral part of the community.

Over the past five years the House has focused its efforts on providing programs, projects, workshops, actives and services that focus on health, wellbeing, skills development both accredited and informal, and resourcing the community to build capacity individually and as a collective.

From strong community participation and engagement Hilltop Fresh Produce Project was born in 2014.

Offering on the job work experiences in hospitality, kitchen operations, production horticulture, agri foods and business, we aim to support people reach their goals.
